Tasting Notes

Nose: It is floral, grainy, clean, and delicate on the nose, characterized by light citrus notes, with hints of black pepper and almond.

Palate: On the palate, it is round, peppery, smooth, sweet, and gentle with hints of fresh citrus, rye, and almond.

Finish: It has a toffee, spicy, creamy, and bold finish.

Knowing that French manufacturing is well regarded for its quality, Sidney Frank (who created it in the 1990s and sold it in 2004 to Bacardi) sent a team to France to create the Grey Goose vodka. It is distilled in a column, blended with naturally filtered pure water in the Gensac Springs, and bottled in Picardy, France. To ensure that only the purest water devoid of pollution in any form is used, water is drawn 500 feet under the ground from an aquifer. The Grey Goose Vodka is one of the most premium and creamiest vodkas from France you’ll ever taste.

Although Grey Goose vodka is made from wheat, the distillation process removes the gluten from the purified final product, thereby making it gluten-free. The fermentation process is done continuously over six cascading tanks to produce a 40% alcohol by volume beer. Using a five-step process, it is then distilled into the spirit.
